Abigail Brown is a British artist who is inspired by what she imagines to be the thoughts and feelings of woodland creatures, as well as her Grandma’s bag of sewing scraps. Can’t say I get the sewing bag thing, but when you look at her pieces it does make sense. Attribution of human characteristics to animals is a habit of mine, so of course I’m on board with art based on it; anthropomorphism is the word. Feel free to use it in a sentence today, and don’t say I never taught you anything.
