The detail in this owl-filled tree, by an Italian artist who goes by Nello Foresto, is just phenomenal; I could stare at it for hours. What’s really cool is that the designer created a pair of shoes featuring the tree pattern, and submitted to a clever company called Ryz (based in my hometown, Portland, OR), which could best be described as crowd-sourced shoe design. I can’t tell if they’re still available for voting, however, and they don’t seem to be for sale.
